Japanese Knotweed Problem

PLEASE DON’T CUT JAPANESE KNOTWEED OR THROW IT IN THE CRANE THIS CAUSES IT TO SPREAD

The Environment Agency are responsible for controlling Knotweed on the river bank.

Householders can help by dealing with it in their gardens with autumn spraying.

For more pictures of Knotweed and Environment Agency guidelines on controlling it please see http://projects.exeter.ac.uk/knotweed/

I've noticed at the Northcote Road end of the Crane that there's a fair bit of Japanese Knotweed growing - around 4-5foot high now.

Does anyone know when the Environment Agency is doing its clearing/spraying?
