Crime Reporting
In reviewing the local crime statistics provided by the Safer Neighbourhood team, it’s apparent that people are not reporting what they feel are minor crimes or incidents that they believe the police will not be interested in. It is very important that we report all incidents.
This is the main tool that the police use to decide where and when to deploy their resources. If we are unfortunate enough to report higher crime numbers then we will see more patrols in our streets.
